Delegation from Inha University Visits BJTU School of Traffic and Transportation

On April 20, 2026, Professor Hun-Koo Ha, GLOBA Program director and former Dean of the Graduate School of Logistics at Inha University, along with his delegation, visited BJTU School of Traffic and Transportation. The meeting was attended by Professor MENG Lingyun, Dean of School of Traffic and Transportation; Professor TAN Yuyan, Vice Dean of the School; Professor ZHANG Xiaodong, Director of the Department of Logistics Engineering; and other faculty representatives. The meeting was hosted by Professor TANG Yuanjie, Vice Dean of the School.

Professor MENG Lingyun extended a warm welcome to Professor Ha and his delegation. He introduced the School’s recent developments in academic disciplines, faculty, talent development, scientific research, and international cooperation and exchange. He noted the strong alignment between the two institutions in their logistics and transportation programs and expressed the hope that the visit would serve as an opportunity to build a platform for international cooperation, strengthen collaborative talent development, and foster collaboration in research and academic exchanges - thereby contributing to smoother global supply chains and the pursuit of high-quality development.

Professor Hun-Koo Ha introduced Inha University and highlighted the distinctive features and strengths of the GLOBA program (Global Logistics on Business Administration). He stated that, supported by the industrial resources of the Republic of Korea’s largest logistics enterprise, the Hanjin Group, Inha University has made logistics and transportation its core academic focus. He expressed anticipation for deeper and more pragmatic cooperation with BJTU School of Traffic and Transportation, with the shared goal of cultivating logistics leaders with a global perspective.

Following the presentations, the two sides held in-depth discussions on joint education programs and scientific research collaboration.

This visit enhanced mutual understanding between the two universities and expanded the international partnerships of BJTU School of Traffic and Transportation. It has laid a solid foundation for long-term cooperation in logistics talent development and academic exchanges.
