Scholarships and Honors

Each cohort receives over 160 scholarship awards, with total funding of more than RMB 490,000 and an average of over RMB 8,000 per student. Scholarship schemes include awards for IELTS performance, postgraduate recommendation and entrance examinations, all granted on an eligibility basis without an overall funding cap. Around 30 students per cohort also receive university honors such as Merit Student, Outstanding Student Cadre and Outstanding Communist Youth League Member.

National Scholarships:14 awards;

“Zhixing” Scholarship (top-tier university award): 1 award;

Academic and student leadership scholarships: 200+ awards;

University honours (e.g. Merit Student, Outstanding Student Cadre):120+ recipients.

Research and Competitions

80+ awards in academic competitions at international, national, and provincial/ministerial levels (e.g., China Undergraduate Transportation Science and Technology Competition; International Mathematical Contest in Modeling; National English Competitions for College Students).

190+ awards in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions (e.g., China International College Students’ Innovation Competition; “Challenge Cup”).

15 student publications in Chinese/English conferences or journals (including SCI/EI indexed papers).

30+ applications for software copyrights and patents.
