Since establishment in 2017, the Transportation (Sino-Foreign Joint Program) major has graduated four cohorts with a total of 233 students, achieving an overall further-study rate of 78%. Among them, 48% pursued graduate studies abroad, with 85% entering universities ranked within the QS global top 50, and 98% entering universities ranked within the QS global top 100. The domestic further-study rate is 30%, including five students who were admitted to top universities such as Tsinghua University and Peking University through exemption from the national postgraduate entrance examination.

Regarding employment, graduates are widely distributed across transportation-related sectors such as railways, metro systems, logistics, and aviation. Employers include institutions directly affiliated with the Ministry of Transportation, China Railway and its regional railway corporations, metro corporations in major cities, as well as well-known enterprises such as Huawei and Xiaomi. Several students from the first graduating cohort have already successfully entered the global job market, joining international organizations or companies such as SWARCO (Netherlands), TLT-Turbo GmbH (Germany), and the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT), demonstrating strong global competitiveness and professional adaptability.
