(3) Program Highlights The Railway Transportation program shares the same hundred-year history as Beijing Jiaotong University. With a development history spanning over a century, its faculty strength and educational infrastructure rank at the forefront of similar programs nationwide. Since it began enrolling students in 1909, the program has cultivated a large number of experts, scholars, and senior executives in railway transportation management, enjoying a high reputation and significant influence both domestically and internationally.

This program has been designated as a National Characteristic Major, a National Comprehensive Reform Pilot Major, and is included in the Ministry of Education's "Plan for Educating and Training Outstanding Engineers." Having passed multiple professional accreditations, it was selected as a National First-Class Undergraduate Major Construction Point in 2019 and a "Key Construction First-Class Major" among Beijing universities.
