(3) Program Highlights As the only E-commerce major in China established within the category of Traffic and Transportation, this program was founded in 2001. It is among the first batch of National First-Class Undergraduate Majors and National "New Engineering" Construction Majors.
Focusing on the digital transformation of the traditional transportation industry and talent demands from internet enterprises in emerging fields like Smart Mobility, Online Freight, and E-commerce Logistics, the program constructs a curriculum system grounded in transportation and logistics business knowledge, supported by Big Data and Business Intelligence technologies, and centered on Information System Analysis, Design, and Development. Relying on national-level laboratories and demonstration centers, it cultivates senior experts in the "Internet + Smart Transportation" field who are proficient in product design, system R&D, and business intelligence analysis. The program has 20 full-time faculty members and implements a one-on-one undergraduate tutorial system to provide personalized academic guidance for students.
(4) Educational Objectives Targeting the talent needs of the "Internet + Smart Transportation" sector, this program cultivates senior professionals who possess basic theories of information technology and business management, are familiar with software development platforms and business analysis tools, and master methods and technologies for data analysis, product design, system development, intelligent decision-making, and business operations management.
